The 2nd Artificial Intelligence Conference aims to raise global awareness of responsible AI in the military context, consolidating it as a priority and establishing a solid foundation for international action at the upcoming REAIM summits. Representatives from the Ministry of Defence, experts from leading universities and leaders from the technology and business sectors, together with representatives from other institutions, will share experiences, perspectives and success stories, offering a comprehensive view of responsible AI in the military field.

Within this framework, and as a continuation of the conference held in November 2025 in Jaén, four clear objectives have been established:

• Maintaining collaboration with national ICT companies through a permanent Defence-Industry channel of dialogue.

• Fostering national developments in responsible AI in order to safeguard technological sovereignty.

• Encouraging the participation of universities, research centres and think tanks.

• Promoting international coordination and Spain's positioning within the REAIM NEXUS framework.

To advance these objectives, the conference is structured around three complementary pillars that form a coherent framework: the technological foundations and their ethical dimension, practical applications, and the evolution of governance mechanisms.

The conference combines keynote lectures, round tables and dynamic panels, fostering networking and the creation of synergies between defence, industry and academia to drive a future in which AI is applied safely, ethically and sustainably in the military field.
