He has served since 2024 as Head of the Navy’s Artificial Intelligence Centre (GIC SEGEMAR EMA). Between 2021 and 2024, he led the Modelling and Simulation Coordination Office (MSCO), supporting the NATO STO M&S STC / NMSG.

Prior to that, he spent four years working in operational research after completing an MSc at the U.S. Naval Postgraduate School (2015–2017).

Previously, he served aboard the vessels Cristóbal Colón, Juan Carlos I, Infanta Elena, Asturias, and Cataluña. He also completed the Artillery and Missile specialization (2006–2007) and his General Corps training at the Spanish Naval Academy (ENM) (1997–2002).
