Doctor of Telecommunications Engineering and Computer Engineer. Full Professor of Telematic Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de València since 2001. CISO of the UPV between 2022 and 2024. He has been Academic Director and lecturer of the Master's in Cybersecurity and Cyber Intelligence at the UPV, and lecturer at the NCIA. Director of the Distributed Real-Time Systems Research Group at the UPV and, since 2022, CEO of CiberTRS, a UPV spin-off company. He leads the CEMACOP and INFOCOP projects funded by the Spanish Army's Cyberspace Command, and the Cyber Common Operational Picture project, in collaboration with the Joint Cyberspace Command. He has led more than 30 European projects funded by the European Commission and the EDA. Author of more than 200 publications including books and journal articles. Awarded the Military Merit Cross with White Distinction. Full Member of the Academy of Military Sciences and Arts.
